As the summer winds down, the Central Carolina Scholastic Summer League (CCSSL) ramps up its playoff format, and is getting ready for their all-star game.  The CCSSL has become a very competitive league offering players the chance to stay close to home and play several times per week with their high school teammates.

The first round of the playoffs was held on Thursday with multiple games at separate sites.  PBR was on hand for one of the sites, taking in two games that saw Holly Springs and Richmond County move on to the next round.
