PBR Draft 100 Spotlight: MacKenzie Gore

A projectable, athletic southpaw, LHP MacKenzie Gore (Whiteville HS, NC) wasn't an unknown entity after the summer circuit. He made stops at major events like the Metropolitan Baseball Classic and East Coast Pro Showcase. With a solid arsenal and the potential to make a jump, the East Carolina recruit ranked in the top 25 of the PBR Draft 100 in November.

Scouting Report

4/28/17 - In his final regular season start, Gore took the mound against a rival in South Columbus HS, NC, in front of several high-level scouts, most of which represented teams with top 10 picks in the draft. It was business as usual for the East Carolina recruit, as he cruised through a complete game on 99 pitches. He allowed four baserunners, one on an error that was erased on a caught stealing, two hits and a walk.
