State Games Of North Carolina: Trackman Hitting Data

By Brandon Hall
PBR North Carolina Director of Scouting

Last week, we looked at Trackman pitching data for the State Games of North Carolina. This week, we continue with hitting data. This includes the top exit velocities and hard hit percentages.

Trackman is software that is still fairly new to baseball, but the analytical value is growing with each game and event that Trackman is available to evaluate. Each of the four fields at the USA Complex, in Cary, NC, is equipped with Trackman, allowing coaches, scouts, and Major League Baseball to collect data on every pitch that was thrown throughout the State Games.
