PBR: Why did you choose Southeast CC?

I chose Southeast CC because of the coaches and because of how they run their program. Their motto is “life after SCC” and that stuck with me. Their main goal is to get their players to the next level while also having success as a program.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?

They saw me play multiple times throughout the summer and started talking to me after I pitched against them this fall. After my visit we talked weekly and they helped me through the recruiting process.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

The deciding factor was the coaches and the players that are there now and the players that will be there in the future.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

My Dad has helped me the most to get me where I am today. He introduced me to the sport I love to play. Anytime I asked him to play catch or to go hit he would drop what he was doing to help me get better. He does the same thing to this day.

PBR: Going into your senior season next spring, what are your expectations for your team?

Going into my senior season I expect my team to come out ready to play. We have the talent to do great things and I know that if we play together we can accomplish our goal of winning a state title.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

The coaches at Southeast CC see me as an immediate impact guy in the pitching rotation. They expect me to come in and compete for a starting spot on the weekends.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

My most memorable baseball moment was on April 3, 2017. This is the day that I threw my first no hitter against Lincoln High.

PBR: Who is the hardest pitcher in the state to get a hit off of?

Colby Gomes is the best player that I have competed against.
