With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR New England is eagerly anticipating bringing the New England states the best high school coverage throughout the region.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Massachusetts Spring Team Preview: Carver HS

Team Name: Carver High School

Division: 4 South Shore League
2015 Record: 4-15
Conference Record: 3-10
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/2

2016 Team Strengths:

  • Experience with 7 Starters and #2 & #3 Starting Pitchers Return from '15

2016 Team Weaknesses:

  • Still Young with only 3 projected senior starters
  • Pitching Depth
  • Power in the Middle of the Order

Coach Outlook: Having won 4 games in 3 seasons, the 2015 Crusaders won 4 games and were competitive throughout the season a year ago. With 7 starters returning from 2015, the team will hope to take the next steps in the rebuilding process.
