2017 massachuestts SPRING TEAM PREVIEW: belmont hill

Team Name: Belmont Hill
Head Coach: Michael Grant
Division: Private ISL
2016 Record: 13-7
Conference Record:  ISL 10-5
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/5

2017 Team Strengths:

  • Pitching Depth
  • Defense
  • Leadership

2017 Team Weaknesses:

  • Scoring Runs
  • Younger Arms - need to step up this year
  • Youth on the field

Coach Outlook: "Loss of AJ DiFillipo (3 year 1st team all ISL, ISL Co Offensive player of year and a 1.57 ERA last year and is now at Columbia) will be difficult. But, return a good number of players from last year's 2nd place finish. Still will be very young. The young players are talented, but still young. Their development will determine whether we compete for the league title or not."

PBR Outlook: A number of quality players are on this roster. They are well coached and should progress as the season goes on. Look for them to hit their stride during the second half of the year. Tons of talent on the team, good club to watch play a number of times
