New England Editor in Chief/Scout

On July 30th through August 1st, PBR New England will take a select team of players in the Classes of 2017 and 2018 to represent the New England states at the PBR Future Games in Indianapolis at Grand Park.

Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, 100+ colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every Division I power conference in the country. Only players who have a legitimate shot at being a Division I recruit and who have an interest in the possibility of making a verbal commitment during their sophomore or junior seasons have been considered.

Team New England Future Games Spotlight: Dylan McNary, SS/2B

Dylan McNaryName: Dylan McNary
Position: SS/2B
Class: 2017
Height/Weight: 6-foot, 150 pounds
High School: Doherty HS
Summer Team(s): Zone Northeast Select

Past Showcase/In-Game Performances:
Date: 2/16/15
Scouting Report: Smooth right-handed hitting middle infielder. Glove is confident and above average for his age. Throwing is simple and 71 across the diamond with minimal effort at this point. Will be an above average defender. The running needs to improve but it's free and loose, ran a 7.8 60-yard dash. The bat shows plus bat speed out of a wide base set up. The tee exit velocity is 82. The bottom half has minimal movement and keeps him in position to hit. Good looking young prospect for sure.

Thoughts on being selected to play in PBR's Future Games and representing the New England states: "It's quite an honor to play in PBR's Future Games and represent my state and family."

How has PBR helped as far as recruiting and exposure: "PBR has helped greatly in recruiting with everything from discovering all my stats and getting a video made up."
