New England Editor in Chief/Scout

On July 30th through August 1st, PBR New England will take a select team of players in the Classes of 2017 and 2018 to represent the New England states at the PBR Future Games in Indianapolis at Grand Park.

Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, 100+ colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every Division I power conference in the country. Only players who have a legitimate shot at being a Division I recruit and who have an interest in the possibility of making a verbal commitment during their sophomore or junior seasons have been considered.

Scouting Report: Good looking athletic outfielder at 5-foot-11, 165-pounds, and a left-handed hitter to boot. Swung the bat with ease at the event, tee exit velocity of 77 mph. The setup is simple and on time, the bat path is good and direct to the ball. He spread the field in batting practice and showed well in the game. Threw 83 mph from the outfield and showed a good feel for his routes and getting off the ball. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash, the gait looks like he will run better in the future. Frame has room to fill out and strength is needed.
