With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR New England is eagerly anticipating bringing the New England states the best high school coverage throughout the region.
Starting in Late-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2017 massachusetts SPRING TEAM PREVIEW: archbishop williams
Team Name: Archbishop Williams
Head Coach: Jim Dolan
Division: Catholic Central League (Private)
2016 Record: 14-9
Conference Record: 7-5
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/1
2017 Team Strengths:
- Leadership
- Team Defense
- Run Scoring Offense
2017 Team Weaknesses:
- Inexperienced Pitching
- Depth
Coach Outlook: "Coming off a 14-win season with a solid core returning, we are expecting big things. We also have two to three newcomers that can contribute right away. Kids have worked really hard in the weight room and cages this off-season.
- Infielders - Sr. Cam Powers 2B, Sr. Timmy Chase SS and Jr. James Dolan 3B all return as starters who batted over .300 last year.
- Catcher - Sr. Casey Earle is outstanding defensively and was 14-14 sb last year.
- Arms - Sr. Brett Sullivan returns and should be our #1 starter
PBR Outlook: Solid program with a bunch of returners coming back. Expect big things from this group as long as they stay healthy.

- Timmy Chase - SS - 2017 - 5'10 / 165 lbs - 3 year starter, all league, .382 w/ 13 RBIs
- Cam Powers - 2B - 2017 - 6' 170 lbs - 3 years starter, .375w/ 7 RBIs
- James Dolan - 3B - 2018 - 5'11 / 170 lbs, .320 w/ 7 RBIs
- Casey Earle - C - Stonehill football commit
- Brett Sullivan - RHP
