Trevor Brown joins PBR New England

2015CTTPG

With great pleasure, we have added Trevor Brown to the Prep Baseball Report New England staff.

Brown, along with fellow scouting director Dennis Healy, will pair to provide the most comprehensive coverage of amateur baseball in the New England area.

A well-known coach in the Northeast, Brown comes to PBR after four seasons at Fairfield University in Connecticut. Most recently, Brown served as the associate head coach while overseeing recruiting as well as working with the pitching staff and assisting in the day-to-day operations. In 2014, the Stags had one of the best pitching staffs in the MAAC with a 3.77 ERA and set the program record for wins (32) and tied the program record in saves (11).

Prior to his work at Fairfield, Brown spent two seasons as the pitching coach at Fordham University. While working with the Rams, Brown was able to cut the pitching staff ERA almost in half and helped them to a 30-win season. Before Fordham, Brown spent seven years at Pace University and two years at Georgetown University. Brown, a 2000 graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University began his coaching career at his alma mater from 1999-2000.

Now, Brown will bring his baseball experiences and connections to New England's prep baseball scene. Along with Dennis Healy, he will work tirelessly to bring to you the most comprehensive high school baseball information the New England area has ever seen and provide coverage to all corners of the state. But he can’t do it alone. Please email him at [email protected] with college commitments, relevant news, and top players in your area.
