This one-of-a-kind event will feature the best uncommitted Class of 2019 prospects and select 2020 prospects from our 30-plus state coverage area. The Future Games will take place on August 2 - August 5 (Thursday-Saturday) at Grand Park, a state-of-the-art 22-field baseball complex located in Westfield, IN, just north of Indianapolis.

The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2019 prospects and select 2020 prospects. Last year, more than 130 colleges from all over the country were in attendance. The Prep Baseball Report services are subscribed by more than 700 colleges and pro scouts.

Every player in the PBR Future Games will be outfitted in adidas uniform, cleats and hat. Players will also receive maximum visibility from college coaches all over the country, in addition to being promoted through the Prep Baseball Report multimedia platforms.

Each state team will play three games. On Wednesday, all position players will be put through a showcase workout in which they will run 60s, take batting practice and be evaluated at their primary position.

New Jersey will have 22. total players participating in the event, playing on two different teams. 2019 RHP Jack Povey (Red Bank Regional HS, NJ), 2019 SS Dante Ciaramella (Monmouth Regional HS,  NJ), and 2020 RHP Nick Hammer (Washington Township HS, NJ) will be playing with Team Select – a combination team with some of the best players from Texas, Colorado, Mississippi, and Oklahoma; while 2019 C Michael McGee (Westfield HS, NJ) will be playing with Team New York.

Good looking pitcher frame with room for added muscle.

10/6/16
Povey has a lanky build at 6-feet 150-pounds. Free and loose arm action from a high-¾ slot, Povey sat 81-83 touching 84. Showcased his breaking ball well for strikes at 68-71 mph. True 12/6 breaker with tight spin, downer breaker with swing and miss potential. Flashed a straight change at 76 mph as well. Projectable frame, already up to 84 mph - more velocity in the tank as he continues to add muscle.

New Jersey Games (July 23-25, 2016)
Povey is a wiry 6-foot 150-pound RHP. Very projectable arm and prospect overall. Had one of the best curveballs at the event. Sat 81-82 touching 83 with a true 12/6 curveball at 67, advanced pitch for his age. Has been up to 84 mph with fastball. Throws from high-3/4 slot with lightning quick arm action for his age. Already has control of body with balanced finish. Will have velocity jump as he continues to add muscle to frame.
