New York Top Prospect Games Review: Pitchers

This is the inaugural year of the PBR New York Top Prospect Games. We are thankful to have such a wonderful venue in St. Bonaventure University to host, and we look forward to the players coming showing off their high level talents.

The pitchers coming are all of high caliber, from graduating classes as high as 2017, to some under the radar 2015's, the pitchers will be sure to impress. Calvin Blish RHP (Elmira HS, NY 2015) is a player I'm surprised is still on the board. 6-foot-3 big and strong, and very athletic. All the intangibles scouts look for in a body type and athleticism. His arm action appears a bit funky, (sometimes funky works) but his hand speed is very quick topping out at 89 mph with good downward angle. Cameron Ringo RHP (Hamburg HS, NY 2015) is another absolute college bound player. 86-88 mph fastball with more in the tank. Shows good feel and spin on his curveball. In the right system he could become a physical pitcher and sky's the limit. Andrew White (Williamsville North HS, NY 2015) has a big time arm and is as loose and lean as you could hope for. 86-89 mph fastball, definitely a name to keep track of. Bryan Warzek LHP (Shenedehowa HS, NY 2015) 6-foot-0 180-pounds already carries four college offers to pitch at the next level. The southpaw can dial it up to 86-87, sits at 83-84 with arm side movement and a ton of competitiveness.
