With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Columbia Station Columbia Raiders

Team Name: Columbia Station Columbia Raiders
Head Coach: Justin Ramsey
Division: IV
2015 Record: 11-13
Conference Record: Patriot Athletic Conference- Stripes Division, 9-7
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/3

2016 Team Strengths: Our top three starters on the mound are coming back and we have some pretty good relievers coming back as well.

Last season we attacked the ball at the plate well and made good contact; I expect this to be our strength for this season as well.

2016 Team Weaknesses: Defense: we made way too many errors on the field last year, including routine plays.  We're hoping to reduce this to greaten our success.

Coach Outlook: We have almost everyone back from a rebuilding year and our school dropped down to DIV. Because of our success last season, winning the PAC for the fourth year in a row, I expect to repeat that championship and with us dropping down a division, I expect to go further in the playoffs.
