With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Danville Local Blue Devils

Team Name: Danville Local Blue Devils

Division: IV
2015 Record: 19-11
Conference Record: Mid Buckeye League, 7-3
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/3

2016 Team Strengths:

• Leadership
• Team defense
• Pitching
• Depth

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Lack of a #1 pitcher
• Scoring runs

Coach Outlook: We have a great group of kids coming back this year. We have kids that want to play baseball in a football school. Our seven seniors have worked very hard over the past four years to make Danville baseball something; their overall record is 44-38.

• Kenton Mickley, SS/P, Ashland University commit, .409 BA, 3 3B, 1 HR, 22 RBI, 29 R, 22 SB, 1 K
