With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Marietta Tigers

Team Name: Marietta Tigers
Head Coach: Jim Thrash, 149-134
Division: II
2015 Record: 17-12
Conference Record: East Central Ohio League, 7-6
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/5

2016 Team Strengths:

• Experience
• Pitching Depth
• Work Ethic

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Catching Depth

Coach Outlook: "With no seniors on the team, the juniors, who are now 3rd year varsity players will lead this team as it continues to build into a conference and district contender."

PBR Outlook: No seniors ... but there the Tigers have a strong junior class and with that talent, coach Thrash looks to have the Tigers contending in the East Central Ohio League.
