With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Massillon Jackson Polar Bears

Team Name: Massillon Jackson Polar Bears
Head Coach: Bill Gamble

2015 Record: 23-7
Conference Record: Federal League, 8-2, 1st place
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/5

2016 Team Strengths:

• We will rely on our experienced pitching staff like a lot of teams early in the season. We have a veteran group that is hungry and loves to compete. 

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Each player will need to understand his role each week and understand that it will change throughout the season. "Doing your job" FOR this team is vital to the success of the program.

Coach Outlook: This team is looking forward to challenges in our non-league schedule and the very competitive Federal League.

Keys for Jackson this season: leadership from our upperclassman, understanding our roles on this team, staying in the moment and competing, productive at bats and quality innings pitched.
