With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Springboro Panthers

Team Name: Springboro Panthers
Head Coach: Mark Pelfrey
Division: I
2015 Record: 16-11
Conference Record: GWOC-South, 7-3
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/3  

2016 Team Strengths:

• Experience
• Pitching- good arms
• Infield play

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Offense is questionable
• Depth at certain positions needs to solidify
• Pitching- ability to throw strikes consistently

Coach Outlook: "We have several position players returning. We have some good arms, but overall they don't have a lot of varsity experience on the mound. I think our leadership will be solid."

PBR Outlook: Coach Pelfrey and the Panthers have experience returning and a few high-level arms which will make them a dangerous team.
