2016 Spring Team Preview: Tri-Valley Scotties

Team Name: Tri-Valley Scotties
Head Coach: Kevin Yoder
Division: I
2015 Record: 8-15
Conference Record: Muskingum Valley League, 6-10
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/5

2016 Team Strengths:

  • Team defense
  • Experience

2016 Team Weaknesses:

  • Lack a true #1 pitcher
  • Our #2 pitcher had Tommy John in October
  • Lack middle of the order power

Coach Outlook: "We should be improved; a lot of young kids were forced to play varsity last year due to injuries and a weak senior class."

PBR Outlook: The Scotties and head coach Kevin Yoder return their core from last season. With the experience returning, look for the Scotties to take a step forward in 2016.
