With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Wapakoneta Redskins

Conference Record: Western Buckeye League, 5-4
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/5

2016 Team Strengths:

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Lack of playing time

Coach Outlook: With only four returning seniors, we will once again rely on our youth to help get us where we feel we can be by the end of the year.

• Jarrett Koch, SR, R/R, 2B, three year starter, 17 SB
• Nick Bruns, SR, R/R, DH/OF/P
• Michael Burton, JR, 1B/P, First Team All NW District, .321 BA, 7 RBI
• Maddux Liles, JR, 3B/SS/P, led team with .278 BA, .508 OBP
• Nate Schroer, JR, C/OF/P, will play all three positions again, two varsity letters
