With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting in Mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

Coach Outlook: “We have been very young the last two seasons losing a lot to graduation. We will be very experienced this season with 8 Seniors and 11 players returning that saw a considerable amount of varsity time last year.”

  • Logan Eldridge, OF, Sr, 5'10", 200, R/R, 4 year starter, .398 average with 21 RBIs and 17 SB's. 1st team GWOC North.
  • Tanner Ross, 3B/P, Sr, 6', 215, L/R, 3 year starter, .353 average with 21 RBI's, 1.91 ERA. 2nd team all GWOC North
  • Kyle Mills, P/SS, JR, 6', 180, R/R, 3 year starter, .291 average with 16 SB's, 1.31 ERA. Special Mention All GWOC North
  • Brandon Beyke, CF, Sr, 5'10", 170, L/L, 3 year starter, .325 average with 14 SB's, 2nd team All GWOC North.
  • Owen Paulus, P, 6'3", 200, L/L, 1st year starter, 3.32 ERA

Top Underclassmen:

  • Colton Zumbrun, 2019, P, 6'3", live high velo arm.
  • Landon Eldridge, 2019, OF, 5'9", natural base stealer, great glove and speed in the outfield. High contact bat with power potential.
  • Grant Minnich, 2019, C, 5'8", sub 2.0 pop, great speed, strong arm.
  • Tyler Beyke, 2020, P/SS, 5'9", above average velo for his age group, good glove up the middle. quick bat with power potential.
  • John Butsch, 2020, P, 5'11", 160, live arm with outstanding command.
