With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting in Mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2017 Spring Team Preview: Holgate Tigers

Team Name: Holgate
Head Coach: Tim Kelly
Division: IV
2016 Record: 4-16
Conference Record: GMC, 1-6
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/3

2017 Team Strengths:

• Defense

2017 Team Weaknesses:

• Pitching Depth
• Hitting

Coach Outlook: "Hope to compete in a very good GMC."

PBR Outlook: The Holgate Tigers and head coach Tim Kelly will look for his upperclassmen to carry on their winning ways from basketball (In regionals as I write this) onto the diamond, while competing in one of the top Division IV conferences in the state.
