With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.
Starting in Mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2017 Spring Team Preview: Margaretta Polar Bears
Team Name: Margaretta
Head Coach: Gregg Hedden
Division: III
2016 Record: 10-11
Conference Record: Sandusky Bay Conference
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/3
2017 Team Strengths:
- Varsity experience
- Pitching
2017 Team Weaknesses:
- Getting the players to believe they can win on any given night is a huge undertaking.
Coach Outlook: "Since arriving this 3 years ago, this staff feels that returning 7 starters and our top 3 pitchers should help us get over the hump and into the upper half of the Conference. The addition of Vermilion will give the conference another solid program with an already heavy upside in Perkins, Edison, and Huron. This is an extremely talented conference"
PBR Outlook: Coach Hedden continues to put his stamp on the program, and in year three, he looks to take the next step for the Polar Bears. Playing in a tough league will prepare them well come tournament time.
