DIVISION I RANKED TEAM SCORES

No. 1 Ashland (13-0) beat Mansfield Madison 5-1.  Adam Schaly got the win to go to 5-0.  He pitched 6 innings and struck out 13 while giving up 3 hits, 1 unearned run and 5 walks.  Steven Mowry had an RBI triple, Josh Duewel had a hit and scored twice. Aric Harris had a hit and a RBI. Schaly scored a run and had a RBI. Garrett McQuate scored a run and had a RBI. 

No. 2 Grove City (12-1) 

No. 3 Strongsville (11-2) beat Elyria 5-2. Senior Austin Pritchard (Cincinnati recruit) picked up his fourth win. Pritchard pitched six innings with a no hitter along with seven strikeouts and four walks. Senior Kyle Toma (Mercyhurst recruit) struck out the side in the seventh and picked up his second save of the season. Senior Dan Stewart hit his first home run of the season in the fifth inning.

No. 4 Centerville (14-1) beat Fairmont 11-0.

No. 5 Hudson (12-0) beat Cuyahoga Falls (6-7) by a score of 8-4. Duncan Moran lined a double to left cenerfield to chase home Will Stribrny and Ross Mclelland in the top of the seventh inning to give Hudson a more comfortable lead in what had been a close game heading into the 7th. Ross McLelland added two singles and Alex Agra collected two, two out run scoring singles to plate important runs for the Explorers who improved to 12-0 overalll and 5-0 in the NOC Valley. Brian Malerick scattered 7 hits in five innings to pick up his 5th win of the year and Jono Chafe closed out the game to collect his 3rd save.

No. 6 Massillon Jackson (11-1) beat the Lake Blue Streaks 5-3.  Unsigned senior Aaron Hoffman hits a triple and a homerun for Jackson. In his last 10 at bats, Hoffman is 9 for 10 with 2 homeruns, 2 doubles and a triple. Michael Cooperider (Tiffin recruit) picked up the win and Chris Infantiedes earned the save.

No. 7 Mason (12-3-1) 

No. 8 Elder (12-3) beat Oak Hills 5-1. 

No. 9 Moeller (13-4) beat Chaminade Julienne 5-1. Senior John Tanner threw 6 innings of one run ball allowing 3 hits while striking out 7. Offensively, Spencer Iacovone doubled twice while Brad Macciocchi and Zack Shannon each doubled once. Senior Nick Edwards singled twice and Jordan Simpson drive in 2 with a single.

No. 10 Walsh Jesuit (10-2) beat Archbishop Hoban 6-0. Walsh Jesuit junior RHP Bennet Stuffel took a perfect game into the 5th inning, but lost it with 2 outs in 5th. He threw a complete game, 3 hit shutout with 5 strikeouts and no walks allowed. Junior Cassidy Brown hit a towering homerun, his 3rd of the year, and was a perfect 3-3 on the day.

No. 11 Norwalk (14-1) beat Tiffin Columbian (8-3) at Tiffin today 10-4. Tiffin and Norwalk are now tied for first place in the NOL. Evan Bader picked up his fifth win of the season on the mound.  Tyler Fuhrur moved to 3-1 on the season. Norwalk had 12 hits lead by Perry, Lieber, Bader and Davis with two a piece. Tiffin Senior Fuhrur had a two run homerun in the first.  

No. 12 North Royalton (11-2) beat Medina 11-6. 

No. 13 Mentor (7-3) lost 7-0 against Brunswick.

No. 14 Willoughby South (9-2) 

No. 15 Sandusky (12-4) fell to No. 18 Bellevue 4-1.

No. 16 St. Xavier (9-2) 

No. 17 Mayfield (12-1) beat Solon (5-4) by a score of 15-5. 

No. 18 Avon (12-0) picked up a close 1-0 win over Midview and one of the state's top left-handed pitchers, Eric Lauer. Anders Mahon improved to 5-0 on the season.

No. 19 North Canton Hoover (11-4) lost to No. 50 Youngstown Boardman 5-3. Senior Austin Appleby had three hits and 2 RBI for Hoover. 

No. 20 Anthony Wayne (9-1) 

No. 21 Springboro (12-2) beat Miamisburg (10-5) by a score of 3-0. Austin Woodby pitched a complete game shut out. 

No. 22 Toledo St. Johns (6-2)

No. 1 Defiance (11-1) shutout No. 15 Ottawa-Glandorf (10-5) by a score of 6-0 behind the pitching of junior Robbie Zeigler.  Robbie improved to 4-1 on the season going the distance allowing only 2 hits while striking out 8 and walking 2.  Leading the way at the plate was Anthony Kidston 2-2 with a 2-run homer and Robbie Zeigler 2-4 with a double and 3 RBI's.

No. 2 Columbus DeSales (13-3) beat Columbus Briggs 8-1. 

No. 3 Canton South (9-3)

No. 4 West Holmes (11-2) beat Mansfield Senior 10-0. Sophomore Butch Baird pitched a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts. 

No. 5 Steubenville (11-3)

No. 6 Jonathan Alder (11-3) beat Bishop Ready 7-1. 

No. 7 New Richmond (13-0)

No. 8 Wapakoneta (11-2) beat WBL foe Celina 5-0. Junior Johnny Crawford raises his record to 4-0 with a complete game shutout while extending his scoreless streak in the league to 17 innings . Crawford tossed a 4 hitter, walking 2 and striking out 12 batters. He showed an 83-86 fastball and 71-74 changeup.

No. 9 Tipp City Tippecanoe (10-5) lost 3-2 against No. 14 Bellefontaine.

No. 3 Summit Country Day (14-2) beat Lockland 10-0. Sophomore Doug Compton improved 3-0. He combined with Ben Davis for a 1 hit shut out. Gabe Scott had 3 RBI and a triple. Compton was also for 2 for 2 at the plate. 

No. 4 Canton Central Catholic (12-2) lost to Massillon Perry 5-0. Jake Flounders pitched a one-hit shutout for Perry, striking out six. 

No. 5 Carlisle (15-2)

No. 7 Lima Bath (11-4) fell to WBL foe St. Marys (9-4) 8-6.

No. 8 Ontario (11-0)

No. 9 Middletown Madison (8-0) beat Northridge 11-1.

No. 11 Bloom Carroll (11-2) beat Fairfield Christian 15-5. 

No. 12 CHCA (10-5) lost to Seven Hills 1-0. The losing pitcher Ted Andrews (Furman recruit) had 14 K's while giving up 3 hits. The winning pitcher Harrison Addy had 8 K's giving up 3 hits. In the bottom of the 6th lead off batter Brandon Malofsky was hit by a pitch and scored on a double by senior SS Ryan Ferrell (Denison recruit) who had two of the Stingers 3 hits.

No. 14 Sherwood Fairview (11-5) lost to No. 1 Defiance Tinora (13-2) 2-1. Brett Fitzwater (BGSU Commit) went the distance for Fairview allowing 2 unearned runs. Fitzwater's fastball topped out at 88 mph while striking out 10. This pushed his season total to no earned runs in 33 innings with 62 strikeouts and 13 walks,

No. 1 Defiance Tinora (13-2) topped No. 14 Fairview 2-1 behind the arm of unsigned senior Tyler McKenney. McKenney tossed a 1-hitter, topping out at 85 MPH, while striking out 8, 4 with an impressive curveball. Sophomore Clay Pittman who came in hitting a team-high .553 had an RBI triple.

No. 2 Hopewell Loudon (13-1) beat Oak Harbor (9-5) by a score of 6-5. Unsigned senior Tyler Tyree had a walkoff 2-run single. Unsigned senior Alex Ratchen had 2 singles and 2 RBI.

No. 3 Bethel (11-1)

No. 4 Seven Hills (11-1) defeated CHCA (9-5), 1-0. The losing pitcher Ted Andrews (Furman recruit) had 14 K's while giving up 3 hits. The winning pitcher Harrison Addy had 8 K's giving up 3 hits. Ravenna (10-3) beat Crestwood (7-8) by a score of 6-1.  

Copley (9-3) beat Cloverleaf (4-9) by a score of 11-0.

Garfield (8-2) beat Waterloo (4-8) by a score of 13-0.

Rootstown (8-3) beat Windham (6-5) by a score of 5-4.

Archbold (9-4) run-ruled Stryker (4-10) 11-1. Junior Taylor Price threw a 1-hitter while striking out 7. Sophomore Jase Grosjean had 2 singles a triple and 2 RBI. Senior Dylan Wyse had 2 singles a double and 3 RBI.

Coldwater (9-5) beat Fort Recovery (4-11) by a score of 6-5. Drew Otten was 3-4, and Grant Muhlenkamp was 2-3 with a double and 2 rbi for Coldwater.

Wooster beat Lexington 6-2. Luke McGee (OSU Recruit) struck out 13. McGee scatter 5 hits. Mason Willeke and Brody Basilone collected two hits a piece and sophomore pitcher Zach Temple suffered the loss.

Waynesville beat Clinton Massie 10-5. Victory Boggs improved to 4-1 with the win. Tyler Shrock, Wyatt Myers, and Trent Fruhwirth all had multi-hit games.

Oakwood (6-6) beat Valley View 14-12. Oakwood won on a walk-off homerun by sophomore Markus Neff.

Bethel-Tate beat Reading 1-0.

Western Brown beat Milford 5-1. 

LaSalle beat Carroll 8-4. 

Fairborn beat Lebanon 7-4.
