DIVISION I RANKED TEAM SCORES

No. 1 Grove City (16-1) beat Groveport 15-1. Sophomore Josh Schaffer threw a no-hitter in the win. Tyler Kent and Dan Cronin hit solo home runs. Brian Stith added a triple and a 3-run home run to end the Cruiser attack.

No. 2 Centerville (18-2) evened their series with No. 37 Northmont with a 3-2 win. Junior Jake Holland hit 2 runs in with a single in the 4th inning. Junior Derek Hendrixson scored the go ahead run in the 6th on a squeeze play. Senior Ryan Colegate pitched a 2 run complete game for his 5th win. 

No. 3 Strongsville (14-2) beat No. 30 Mentor (7-6) 12-0. Senior Austin Pritchard picks up his fifth win going six innings, Pritchard recorded four strikeouts and two walks. Senior Dan Stewart went 4/5 and Senior Kory Hall went 3/4.

No. 4 Massillon Jackson (13-1) beat Canton McKinley 7-1. Micheal Cooperider (Tiffin recruit) pitches a complete game with 8 strikeouts for the win. Eon Patterson, Andrew Stahlnaker and Jake Miller had 2 hits each for Jackson. Eric Glover-Williams (2015) went 3 for 4 at the plate for Mckinley

No. 5 Ashland (15-1) topped D-2 No. 7 West Homes 2-0. Stetson commit Adam Shally had a 3-hitter, striking out 18 batters.

No. 6 Anthony Wayne (15-1) 

No. 7 Hudson (15-1) beat rival Stow-Munroe Falls in a tight 7 inning, 4-3 victory. Senior Nate Andrasik picked up his second win of the season.  Senior Chris Andrus came in in the 7th to pick up the save. Juniors Jono Chafe had 2 RBI while Tim Kennedy had a double, 2 runs scored and a stolen base. Senior CJ Tosino had a double, triple, run scored and RBI.

run-ruled St. Marys 14-1 in 5 innings. Defiance pushed its Western Buckeye League winning streak to 54 in a row.The Bulldogs exploded for eight runs in the third inning. Joe Gentile started the frame with a double and capped it with a run-scoring single. Jacob Moore had a two-run single in the inning. Anthony Kidston drove in four runs with a pair of doubles while Gentile had a single and double and Robe Zeigler and Shea Murray two singles each. Kidston went all five innings allowing two hits and two walks while striking out 11 for Defiance

got upset by Stryker 7-3. Taylor Brown picked up the win on the mound going the distance while striking out 6. Brown added 2 doubles and a home run at the plate. Tanner Vollmer led the Golden Bears with 2 singles.

Jared Echlinger singled in Kalieb Crites with the winning run in the top of the 8th and Brett Fitzwater shut down the Raiders in the bottom of the Frame. Jacob Whitman had 2 doubles for the Apaches. Broc Forrer had 4 singles to lead Wayne Trace.
