Cangelosi High School Fall League Recap - Week 4

Varsity: RED vs. SILVER

Game 1:

SILVER – 5
RED – 8

Austin Burchfield (Gahanna Lincoln) pitched 5 innings, allowing just 3 hits and one run, while collecting 3 strikeouts for the RED team. Both Chase Milner (Groveport Madison) and Jaxon Snyder (Mount Vernon) collected a pair of hits for the RED team. The SILVER team’s Nick Headley (Crooksville) collected 2 doubles, while Jake Kletrovetz (Big Walnut) and Matthew Lang (Lancaster) each collected a pair of singles.

Game 2:

RED – 0
SILVER – 1

Matthew Lang (Lancaster) pitched a strong 6 innings, allowing no runs and striking out three for the SILVER team. Noah Gleason (Mount Vernon) pitched 5 strong innings as well, allowing no runs for the RED team.

Varsity: BLACK vs. BLUE

Game 1:

BLUE – 4
BLACK – 2

Jake Cannon (Upper Arlington) put together a strong outing on the mound for the BLUE team, pitching 6 innings and allowing just 2 runs, while collecting a strikeout. Jacob Hollar (Grandview Heights) had three hits, including an RBI for the BLUE team. Nathan Brooks (Avon) collected 2 hits for the BLACK team.

Game 2:

BLACK – 10
BLUE – 2

In a very one-sided game, Jacob Conrad (Amelia) pitched 7 innings for the BLACK team, allowing just 2 runs. Brandon Kline (Canon-McMillan) had an RBI triple, while Patrick Burke (Hilliard Darby), Jacob Conrad (Amelia) and Ben Hilger (Olentangy) all had hits for the BLACK team.
