GLANDORF, OH - Ottawa-Glandorf stays perfect in the Western Buckeye League after defeating Lima Shawnee 2-1, behind the right arm of junior Brad Croy and the bat of unsigned senior Matt Warnecke.

Lima Shawnee got on top of the Titans in the third inning. With one outTrevor Anderson vs O-G Brandon Kohl singled to right, scoring on an RBI double from junior Trevor Anderson (second hit of the day, pictured right).

Down 1-0, No. 11 ranked Ottawa-Glandorf (D-III) rallied back to score one in the bottom of the sixth. Junior left-handed hitting outfielder Chandler Kersh singled to left off the glove of Lima Shawnee's left fielder, who made a diving attempt.

With Kersh on first, Austin Williams laced a double to left, that on the relay, Shawnee's shortstop threw an errant throw to second that got away to score Kersh.

With the score knotted at 1-1, the Titans strung together three straight hits to start the seventh. Ben Dietering reached on a single, advancing to second on a passed ball that was, I will say, very close to glancing off the bat of Drew Schierloh who was attempting a sacrifice bunt.

Dietering now on second base, Schierloh blooped a single just over the glove of Chase Wilder at short, bring to the plate Warnecke.

The third basemen roped a first pitch up the middle to score Dietering from second, bringing Ottawa-Glandorf's Western Buckeye League record to 4-0 and setting up a colossal match-up against No. 2 Defiance (D-II), who has a 70-game win streak in the WBL on Friday.
