Despite being undersized, Baird is one of the top southpaws in Ohio’s 2014 class. He has a quick arm and has flashed high-80s velocity in the past, but generally sits in the 85-87 mph range. His curveball has sharp, 12-to-6 action and sits in the high 60s. The Louisville recruit also shows feel for a changeup that shows similar run to his fastball and sits 80-81.
