From August 2nd through August 5th, PBR Ohio will take a select team of players in the Classes of 2019, 2020 and 2021 to represent Ohio at the PBR Future Games in Westfield Indiana at Grand Park.

Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, 100 colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every DI power conference in the country. Only players who have a legitimate shot at being a Division I recruit and who have an interest in the possibility of making a verbal commitment during their sophomore or junior seasons will be considered.

Scouting Report

6/6/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in an open setup. Uses a leg kick for timing and energy. Hands move slightly back to launch. Bat speed was well above average and his barrel works on a level  path. Consistently produced hard contact in batting practice. Was at his best to the middle of the field. In the outfield he looked comfortable and athletic. Plays through the ball well and gets rid of it quickly. Very athletic presence on the bump. Works through a high-¾ slot with well above average arm speed. Fastball comes out of his hand well and sat 83-86 mph. He showed solid command of the pitch. His best secondary offering was his 11/5 shaped breaking ball. Spins it well and has some depth at 66-68 mph. Produced consistent swing and miss with the pitch.

1/22/17
6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect. On the mound, the right handed pitcher features some projectability as he offers an easy effort delivery and quick arm. Uses short arm action while throwing through a ¾ arm slot. Being just a 2019 prospect his velocity should continue to prosper. The 79-83 mph displays a considerable amount of arm-side run. When in the zone, his 62-64 mph  breaking ball shows some sharp, late breaking action. Also mixes in a 71-72 mph changeup. A very athletic infielder. Well above average range. Adequate glove skills at this stage. Right-handed hitter that starts in a wide stance. Uses small leg kick and stride. Hands drift back as leg kick initiates. Transfers weight well through contact. Takes slight uphill path to the ball with aggressive swing. Obvious pop in his bat. Showed solid contact in his BP round. Top exit velocity of 95 mph off the tee.
