From August 2nd through August 5th, PBR Ohio will take a select team of players in the Classes of 2019, 2020 and 2021 to represent Ohio at the PBR Future Games in Westfield Indiana at Grand Park.

Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, 100 colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every DI power conference in the country. Only players who have a legitimate shot at being a Division I recruit and who have an interest in the possibility of making a verbal commitment during their sophomore or junior seasons will be considered.

Scouting Report

6/6/17
A physical bat from the left-side. Starts in a taller setup and initiates loading sequence through a knee pinch load and controlled stride. Barrel starts vertical and gets on plane early. Creates early bat speed with barrel whip through contact. Flashed power potential to his pull side. At first base he moves around the bag well and has obvious feel for the position. Glove works in and out of his funnel. Ideal frame for the position. Projects as an above average defender at the next level.

60-yard dash: 7.42
Infield Velocity: 76
Exit Velocity: 94

7/26/16
6-foot-4, 190-pound projectable, strong frame. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. At the plate he has a simple approach mechanically, implementing a short stride in his wide setup. Hands stay simple before getting through the zone on a slightly uphill path. A very strong kid and the ball came off his bat well when he found the barrel. Top exit velocity was 88 mph. Ideal frame for a first baseman. Gets off the bag well and flashed solid glove skills. Could play lower. Threw across the infield with 74 mph arm strength.
