We would like to thank all who participated in PBR's The Border Preview Showcase. This was a great opportunity for 2015, '16, '17, and '18 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories. 

In the coming weeks, we will be adding and updating profiles for each of the players in attendance, including complete analysis and video.

Bryant Kennedy, 3B, Chagrin Falls, 2015
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 215-pounds big body build. From third base he does a good job fielding the ball out in front of his body. Slow exchange and throw from a high-¾ slot with 77 mph arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter with a spread out stance that keeps him balanced. Little leg kick with power to pull side and registered top exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 7.9-60.

Davis Adkins, RHP/3B, Norwalk, 2015
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 190-pound athletic build. From the infield he projects as a 3B type. Tends to wait back on his heels with a clean transfer. Throws from a high-¾ slot with 81 mph velocity across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts with high hands. Uses a toe tap to load and shows power to his pull side. Registered an impressive top exit velocity of 90 mph and ran a 7.39-60. On the mound he has a slow, compact delivery. From a short, high-¾ slot his fastball sits 77-79 mph with arm-side run. Shows two different breaking balls. His curveball has tight spin at 68-71 mph with 11/5 break. Slider is harder with a later break at 72-73 mph. Uses a knuckleball for his changeup at 67-69 mph with decent life.

Jake Wilson, RHP, Old Fort, 2015
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 185-pound projectable delivery. On the mound the righty has an up tempo delivery with a lot of effort and lands open at foot strike. Throws from a short, high-¾ slot with is fastball sitting 73-77 mph. His breaking ball was at 65-66 mph with 11/5 break and showcased a changeup at 68-69 mph with good arm speed.

Josh Carver, RHP/3B, Bowsher, 2015
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 155-pound average build. On the mound the right-hander projects as a bullpen type. Slow to fast tempo delivery with good direction and able to hide the ball well on his lift. Throws from a short, high-¾ slot with some effort in his arm action. Fastball ranges from 79-81 mph that gets on you quick with some cut to it. Showed the ability to throw his breaking ball for a strike at 67-69 mph with 11/5 tilt. Showcase an above average changeup at 73 mph with arm-side run.

Seth Strong, C/1B, Wayne, 2015
Scouting Report: 6-foot-2, 230-pound strong build. From the crouch his strength is his arm. Quick release with pop times of 2.03-2.12 and 78 mph velocity to second base. At first he is a good target with good hands around the bag. Showed better arm strength at 81 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter with a short, compact swing with power to pull side. Registered top exit velocity of 88 mph off a tee and ran 8.11-60

Triston Snezek, RHP/1B, Bellevue, 2015
Scouting Report: 6-foot-4, 200-pound tall, projectable frame. From first base he is a big target and tends to wait back on the ball. Throws from an easy, high-¾ slot with 77 mph velocity across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that stands tall and balanced. Has quick hands and the barrel gets in and out of the zone with 77 mph exit velocity. Ran 7.45-60. On the mound he has a good tempo delivery with good direction. From over the top his fastball sat 80-82 mph with down angle and arm-side run. Showed a 12/6 breaking ball at 60-64 mph and really threw an above average changeup at 70-72 mph with good arm speed.

Tyler Kennedy, RHP/1B, Chagrin Falls, 2015
Scouting report: 6-foot, 210-pounds solid build. On the mound the right hander uses a strong lower ½ and a  simple delivery that tends to lean back to far. Clean arm action from a quick ¾ slot his fastball sits at 82-85 mph with some run to it. His breaking ball sat 74-75 mph with good 11/5 break. Showed a hard changeup at 77 mph with good arm speed and threw a split finger at 75-77 mph with hard, late sink.
