Kale Davis RHP / 3B / Westmoore, OK / 2019

8-3-17

Davis turned in one of the more impressive outings of the Future Games, and looked every bit of a future weekend starter at Oklahoma State, where he committed days later. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound right-hander showcased a loose, quick arm, and pounded the strike zone while working both corners with his fastball. He sat 86-89, and looks like he will throw even harder in the future. His crisp, clean delivery allowed him to repeat his high ¾ arm slot with ease, and should aid in his ability to continue progressing in the future. What really stood out to me, was his confidence in a near 12/6 curveball. The pitch featured big, two-tier break with tight spin at 73-76, and is already a swing and miss pitch. He demonstrates the ability to flip it over for strikes early in the count, and to get hitters to chase, later. Overall, given his big, athletic frame and loose arm, Davis should continue to get better at a rapid rate.

Jake Adams RHP / OF / Bethany , OK / 2018

5-21-17

A 6-foot-3, 190-pound long and athletic frame with some strength for this two-way player who really shines on the mound. The right-hander works from a slightly up-tempo delivery with rhythm, high-leg kick, and glides to the dish under control. The arm action is long and loose with a full arm-circle and fast out front with some effort from a high-3/4 slot. The fastball jumps out of Adams' hand with some downhill tilt, 86-87 mph. Slider flashes some late and sharp action with 11/5 shape, backs up at times, 72-78 mph. Changeup shows some fade 78-79 mph. With his athleticism, frame, and arm speed, Adams is a talented prospect on the mound that will only get better as he continues to dial in his command and consistency. At the dish, the right-handed hitter uses a moderate knee-knock leg kick to launch his hands on a flat path. Stayed in the pull gap with some carry in BP, barreling most balls. Posted an exit velo of 83. In the outfield, shows athletic, confident actions. Runs through throws, some accuracy, 83 mph. Runs a 7.34 60.

Jack Hammond SS / RHP / Owasso, OK / 2020

The Oklahoma State commit has a 5-foot-10, 165-pound, lean frame with quick twitch actions. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from slightly open and quiet set-up. Uses a toe-tap stride for timing and is short to the ball with impressive quickness in his hands and more pop than expected from his frame. Defensively, covers ground well in the outfield with good reads and shows an accurate arm.

Jace Bohrofen OF / SS / Westmoore , OK / 2020

8-3-17

A physically advanced 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with strength throughout. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a slightly open, relaxed, and upright set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate stride, hand load, short and flat to contact, high finish, and high end bat speed. In BP, shows a flat and mostly pull approach with occasional lift, also possesses easy opposite field juice, almost all barrels, 91 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.1 60. Defensively, shows easy, clean, and confident actions. Throws from an over the top slot with advanced accuracy and carry, 85 mph. Arguably, one of the best left-handed swings in his class.

Tyler Polk RHP / Duncan, OK / 2018

8-9-17

An Oklahoma State recruit Polk recently made a jump from the upper 80s to 94 mph with his sinking fastball and up to 83 mph on a sharp slider. Polk pitches with a simple delivery that he repeats well and possesses a fast arm from a high-3/4 slot.  A well rounded athlete, Polk could possibly be a true two-way player for the Cowboys with a compact stroke, some pop (90 mph exit velo) and enough speed and arm strength to play a corner outfield spot.

Connor Beichler SS / 2B / Owasso, OK / 2019

8-3-17

The recent Oklahoma commit is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound quick-twitch athlete and all around polished baseball player. Beichler is easily one of the best defenders in the state, showing elite range, sure hands, enough arm to stick at short at the next level, and an advanced baseball IQ. Offensively, the switch hitter plays to his strength with a flat, middle of the field approach, rarely swinging and missing especially from the right side, still developing consistency from the left. A 6.57 runner, plays even faster on the base paths, 3.82 and 3.85 down the line on bunts. One of the big standouts of the workout day at the Future Games.

Kade Self C / Shawnee, OK / 2018

The recent Seminole State commit has a 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame packed with strength and quick twitch actions. Offensively, the right-handed hitter has shown the ability to hit for average and elite power. An impressive runner for his size, 6.83 60. Defensively, shows the ability to catch, play the corners in the infield and the outfield. If is unclear yet where his future will be in the field.
