It was a scheduled short start for Cade Cavalli, his first start on the mound since returning to action this spring, and he did not disappoint. The Oklahoma commit tossed two innings, did not allow a hit, and struck out five, showing high-end velo. The Seminole State commit, Nic Swanson, lead the way offensively for Bixby, going 2-for-2 with a triple, two RBI’s, run scored, and a walk. Jeremy Goodwin also had a big day, going 2-for-2 with two runs scored, and RBI, and a walk.  For Muskogee, it was their starter, Kinsey, that posted their only hit.

Oktaha outlasted Coweta in a game that took an unprecedented 17 innings to decide. This game featured 12 different pitchers who threw a combine 510 pitches. Earning the win was Jake Robbins, who entered the game in the fifth inning and threw the next 11.2, not allowing a run on five hits, five walks, while striking out six. Kobe Edgar was the only Oktaha player to record multiple hits in the marathon game, going 3-for-7 with a walk. For Coweta, Connors State commit, Braden Calico, posted a four hit day, going 4-for-6 with a double, RBI, and two walks.

Alex Andrews wasn’t spotless in his complete game effort, but he did enough to earn the win. The right-hander gave up five runs, three earned, spreading out nine hit, surrendering just one walk, and striking out two.  Offensively, Blake Robertson and NOC Tonkawa commit Dominick Trevino were outstanding.  Robertson was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI’s. Trevino went 1-for-2 with two runs scored, two RBI’s, and two walks. For Norman North, Jalen Smith lead the way going 2-for-4 with two runs scored.

Oklahoma State commit Brett Standlee was the difference in this one. On the mound, the physical right-hander tosses a complete game shutout, spreading out seven hits, walking two, and punching out six. At the dish Standlee also recorded a hit and a run scored. Princeton signee Sy Snedeker  was 2-for-3 for the Trojans with a home run and four RBI’s.  For Stillwater, Riley Metzger was 2-for-3 with the bat.
