Ontario Insider: 2018 Prospects to Watch

Ben Abram, RHP, Georgetown District High School, 2018
Scouting Report: Fits the profile with long limbs at 6-foot-6, 190-pounds. Room to fill out and mature, strength gains to come. Right-hander with good actions on the mound, works from ¾ arm slot and is able to get good downhill plane. Fastball sits around 83 mph with more to come. Others have seen him touch 85 mph. Mixes in changeup and breaking with signs of tilt. Mechanics work and repeats well for size. Displays some athletic actions and has more balance than one would think for a 15 year old who is so tall. High ceiling arm, very projectable and fits mold of a pro prospect to come.
