Ontario Top Ten Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles - #8 Adam Hall

Adam Hall#8 Adam Hall, INF, 2017 (Texas A&M commit)
Background: The 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame of Adam Hall may not raise eyebrows, but once you get to see the athletic shortstop in action, you quickly throw those numbers to the side. He is strong and quick at the moment, and the gains he will make as he matures will only add to what the 2017 grad and Texas A&M commit can do on the ball field. A plus runner who has been clocked in the 60-yard dash at 6.50, Hall can move with the best of them and can turn singles into triples very quickly on the bases. At the plate, the quickness in his hands are the separator. The swing is fluid and quiet, with a looseness to it that a lot of great hitters have. He surprises some with the power he can generate, and more will likely come in the future as he matures and gets older. Great actions in the infield with arm strength that has been clocked at 90 mph across the diamond while he shows body control and quick lower half defensively.

Intangibles: The thing I like is that he seems to be a student of the game. He recognizes situations your typical 16 wouldn’t, and seems to take control of the game on the defensive side of the ball. An early sign of the Aggies, Hall will continue to be a standout for his club team the Great Lake Canadians as well the Canadian Junior National Team with the 2017 World Championship taking place in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
