2019 Rankings Update: Top 10 in 2019 (#6-10)

By Jacob Gill
Pennsylvania Assistant Director of Scouting

In preparation for our soon-to-be updated 2019 rankings, the next two days will reveal the top ten prospects on the updated list, which will be released on Saturday.

[Note: these rankings will not be reflected on player pages or in the overall list until the final update is input at the end of the week]

Grintz

Servello

6. Kellan Tulio, LHP, Emmaus
7. Jack Kochanowicz, RHP, Harriton (Virginia)
8. Adam Grintz, RHP, Downingtown West ==> (right)
9. Dylan Gearhart, RHP, Mount Union Area (West Virginia)
10. Sam Servello, RHP, Hollidaysburg Area (West Virginia) ==> (left)

Pitching dominates the second five, although there are disparate profiles among this quintet. Tulio is a big-bodied, 6-foot-3, 205-pounder with present arm strength that projects for more. Kochanowicz sports a lean, 6-foot-6, 195-pound frame and features a clean, projectable arm action. Grintz, who was one of only two rising sophomores (along with his twin brother Eric) on the roster for Team PA at the 2016 PBR Future Games, doesn't possess the physicality of Tulio or the frame of Kochanowicz, but he has a quick arm and pitchability. Gearhart has also shown advanced pitchability, along with the ability to spin and command a tight, downer curveball. Standing at 5-foot-10, 175-pounds, Servello  is the smallest among this bunch, but possesses the most life in his loose, quick arm, with a fastball that has touched 89 mph.
