  • BowmanClass A state runner-up Canton returns its primary pitchers as they look to make another long post-season run. In addition to Wesneski and Pepper, the 2013 NTL Pitcher of the Year, '15 RHP John Bowman (right) is a raw athlete (also the Warriors starting QB) who is still very green on the mound. Landis was named 2013 NTL co-Rookie of the Year and will be joined in the line-up by 1B Connor Route and '15 IF Trevor Route.
  • Troy Area coach Steve Mattocks can look forward to a lot of familiar faces, and young faces at that, led by the four players listed above. Mattocks and Jackson look to step up on the mound, while Schucker may have an opportunity to slide into the vacated position behind the plate.
  • IF/RHP Dawson Prough (.394 AVG, .468 OBP, 12 SB) took the league by storm at Wellsboro Area, earning NTL co-Rookie of the Year honors as a freshman. '14 RHP Brandon Owlett (6-1, 19 H, 27 BB, 56 K in 34.1 IP) will become coach Philip Prough's mound ace. OF Dylan Prough (.368 AVG, .424 OBP, 7 SB) will provide senior leadership for a team that could have sophomores fill half of its line-up.
