LancersTo the victors go the spoils!  Justin Lambert and Sadiq Burkholder had stellar seasons for district champ Hughesville, but PBR's District IV Pitcher of the Year award goes to the two young men who pitched Loyalsock Township to the state championship: Luke Glavin and Kyle Datres. The dynamic 2015 RHPs combined for all six of the Lancers' post-season victories on their way to capturing the PIAA class AA title.

Luke GlavinGlavin, who has given a verbal commitment to attend Duke University, was a stalwart throughout the season, going 8-1 with a 2.11 ERA, 32 H, 14 BB, 50 K and 2 SV in 42.2 IP. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder rose to the occasion in the playoffs as well, picking up two wins, including a CG, 5-hitter in the PIAA semifinals against Salisbury Township.

DatresDatres, a 6-foot, 175-pounder did most of his damage come tournament time, going 4-0 with one save in seven contests. Despite having his innings limited at the start of the spring due to not being in pitching shape coming off basketball season, Datres compiled a season-long line of 5-1 with a 2.14 ERA and 56 K in 43.2 IP. He also doubled as the starting shortstop and leadoff hitter, posting a .392 AVG, 10 XBH, 17 RBI, 22 SB, a .550 OBP and .608 SLG with a 26:4 BB plus HBP to K ratio.
