The Fall College Prospect Program will get under way on September 7 giving college prospects an opportunity to showcase their abilities in game action on three college campuses during the course of the month. 2016  LHP/OF Dom Coconcelli (Penn-Trafford)

Dom CoconcelliCoconelli is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound lefty that sits in the low 80s with a loose arm and repeatable mechanics. The junior also commands of a tight spinning 70 mph curveball and throws a changeup at 71 mph with fastball arm speed. Coconcelli is likely to see significant velocity gains in the coming years with his athletic frame and loose delivery.

Coconcelli comes off a busy summer that concluded with him participating in the Keystone State Games. Coconcelli helped lead his Western PA Region team to the gold medal, spinning a one-hitter in the second game of the event. The lefty will play for the Allegheny Pirates this fall prior to taking the rubber for his junior season at Penn-Trafford.
