2015  OF/LHP Braden Griffin (Man, WV)

Braden GriffinGriffin put on a show in the West Virginia state tournament last June, especially in the semifinals. The 6-foot, 180-pound junior LHP/OF went 3-for-3 at the plate and pitched 6.1 innings of three hit baseball for the win. The lefty showcased a fastball that sat 80-82 topping at 83 out of a 3/4 arm slot with some natural cut. The uncommitted senior, ranked No. 12 in the WV Class of 2015, also flashed a 1/7 breaking curveball that sat 67-70 with tight rotation and sharp, late break. Griffin cruised through the first six innings. After walking two in the 7th inning he gave way to LHP Ryan Adkins who came on to throw a total of two pitches while inducing a 5-4-3 double play to end the game.

Griffin will put his two way abilities on display in Week Two of the Fall College Prospect Program participating in both games and the showcase at La Roche College.
