Jake WapinskyJake Wapinsky enters his junior season on the heels of being an All-Berks Divison II selection as a sophomore. Wapinsky followed a strong sophomore campaign by turning heads with his offensive abilities at the PBR Future Games as a member of Team Pennsylvania.

Wapinsky recently showcased his two way abilities and displayed improvements in a number of measurable categories indicating a breakout spring might just be around the corner. The 6-foot, 185-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and uses a controlled leg lift stride to initiate his swing. Wapinsky stays inside the baseball extremely well and has a real feel for the barrel. The junior is balanced throughout his swing and has the ability to drive the baseball to all fields with an 84 mph bat exit velocity.

Wapinsky has shown a 90 mph arm from the outfield and sits in the mid-80s with natural cut to his fastball on the mound. He pounds the strike zone from a high 3/4 arm slot with some hip coil to his delivery and holds velocity while in the stretch. Wapinsky also commands a 67 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation and a 74 mph changeup that has some arm side run while in the stretch.
