Schedules for the inaugural Pennsylvania Travel Baseball State Championships have been altered slightly with first pitch just one week away. With a few late scratches the 16 team field is now 12 with three pools of four teams each going head to head over the span of three days (August 19-21). Teams will be re-bracketed following pool play for semifinals and championship action in a Gold, Silver and Bronze bracket. Semifinals action in each bracket is scheduled for Saturday afternoon, August, 20. Championship games in each of three playoff brackets will take place at 10:00am and 12:00pm on Sunday, August 21. The field of 12 teams includes teams from Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland.

Iron Horse Sports Complex in Windber will play host to the three day event with Prep Baseball Report staff covering and reporting on all the action. To view active rosters with links to player profile pages for each team - CLICK HERE.

PLAYOFF CRITERIA    

* Gold Championship: Three pool champions and 2nd place team with the best record/criteria
* Silver Championship: Remaining 2nd place teams and two 3rd place teams with best record/criteria
* Bronze Championship: Remaining 3rd place team and all 4th place teams
* Criteria to break ties:
  a) head-to-head
  b) least total runs given up
  c) least runs given up by inning beginning with inning one of a team's 1st game and moving forward.
