MellorsThe Mt. Pleasant Vikings went 13-8 in 2012 finishing in 3rd place in their section of the WPIAL behind Belle Vernon. The Vikings return seven starters from last season and four pitchers who saw varsity action. Head Coach Tom Hudzema feels that his team's depth and athleticism will be keys to success in 2013. Hudzema will be looking for his team to mature as the season goes along and hopes that some of the returning starter will emerge as team leaders to guide the Vikings on their quest for a state playoff berth.

Following is a look at some of the Vikings who should make an impact on the success of this season and for years to come.
