PBR:  Where have you decided to attend college and why did you make this choice?

PBR:  What other schools were you considering?
Drossner:  The other schools I was considering include the University of Virginia, the University of North Carolina and UCONN.

PBR:  Was distance from home a factor in your decision?
Drossner:  I would definitely say that distance was a big factor in my decision. Maryland has given me the opportunity to pitch in the ACC and to be not too far from home.

PBR:  Where did the coaches first see you?  How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?
Drossner:  Maryland first saw me down in Jupiter, FL when I was a sophomore. They kept in touch with me throughout my season and into my junior year. They showed me that they really wanted me by always keeping me updated with the recruiting process.

PBR:  What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Drossner:  Maryland is hoping that I can become one of their weekend starters.

PBR:  What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that will help your team?
Drossner:  I am very good teammate and always thinking of my teammates first.  Being a good teammate I believe helps bring a winning atmosphere.

PBR:  Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most memorable experience from this past summer?
Drossner:  I played for All Star Baseball Academy in West Chester, PA.  My most memorable experience was getting the opportunity to play at Yankee Stadium.

PBR:  What is your current GPA?
Drossner:  My current GPA is 3.2

PBR:  Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for the team going into your senior season?
Drossner:  My goals are for our team to win our conference and for us to qualify to play in the state playoffs.
