Rosters & Check-in Information for Eastern PA College Prospect Showcase

The Eastern PA College Prospect Showcase is set for next Monday, January 20, at The Phelps School in Malvern, PA. Roughly 1/4 of the prospects are currently ranked in Pennsylvania in their respective classes and others will be vying for inclusion when the next round of updates take place in late February.

Chris ButeraOne of the more intriguing prospects that will participate is OF/RHP Chris Butera (Malvern Prep). Currently ranked No. 29 in PA and No. 167 in the PBR combined Class of 2015 rankings, the 5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect will showcase excellent foot speed and solid arm strength. Butera runs a 6.75 60-yard dash and has an upper 80s arm from the outfield. He comes off a solid sophomore season hitting in the 3-hole for Malvern Prep. Butera went 8-1 with a 1.73 ERA on the hill last spring, but will only work out as an outfielder.
