Updated and Expanded Class of 2016 Player Rankings Released

By Greg Williams
PA Director of Scouting

KirilloffTalented freshmen usually get an opportunity to see the varsity playing field only as the season progresses. Our new No. 1 ranked player in the Class of 2016 is not your typical freshman. LHP/1B Alex Kirilloff began the season in the starting lineup for the Plum Mustangs and went on to rank at the top or near the top of nearly every offensive category for the Mustangs. The sweet swinging lefty has the ability to stay behind the baseball and uses all fields very well for a young hitter.

Kirilloff also saw time on the varsity mound topping at 84 mph while sitting consistently 81-83. The lefty has demonstrated the ability to command a 67 mph curveball and a 65 mph changeup as well.
