District playoff action continues today in District VII (WPIAL) with opening round games being contested in Class 5A, 3A and 21A.  Those teams in Class 6A, 4A and 2A began play on Tuesday.  To view complete district playoff schedules and scores statewide check our District Tournament Tracker daily.

In preparation for first pitch we take a look at the contest between the No. 5 and No. 12 seeds in Class 5A.

Comments: Moon is the prohibitive favorite in this matchup.  Gateway has received solid pitching throughout year which gives them a puncher's chance for an upset.
