Welcome back to PBR New York’s Headed North – where we select members to discuss, highlight, and point out what is to be seen this coming spring and summer at the ballpark. In our last piece we looked at three rising third basemen in Tyler Griggs (McQuaid), Pierce Hendershot (Tioga) and Andrew Fairbrother (Williamsville North) to keep an eye on playing the hot corner come April. Today, we look at three young sophomores to keep an eye on playing shortstop during the 2017 spring and summer season. Shortstops Julian Thompson (Shaker), Michael DeStefano (Liverpool) and Santino Rosso (Victor) all show good tools to check out during their respected spring and summer seasons.
