No. 15 Jacobs (18-3, 7-0 Fox Valley Valley) blanked Huntley 3-0 behind a three-hit masterpiece from Casey Dennison. Dennison was outstanding, firing a three-hit shutout at the Red Raiders with five strikeouts. Cameron Wilson singled and plated the only run Dennison would need.
NONCONFERENCE
No. 9 Rockford Boylan (16-0-1) defeated Palatine 6-3 behind Max Maney and Alex Ciaccio. Maney had a pair of singles and plated a Titan run while Ciaccio chipped in with a single and two RBI.
Belleville East (12-6) routed No. 16 Highland 10-4 behind Nick Martin. Martin hammered a bomb and plated three runs, to lead the Lancer attack. Brady Schanuel and Mitch Harlan, both chipped in with a single and two RBI. Highland falls to 15-3.
