With the summer baseball season complete and the fall season about ready to start, here are 20 right-handed arms from the 2016 class still on the board.
Carter Poiry, RHP, Hamilton Southeastern: A top 50 player in Indiana's class of 2016 rankings, Poiry stands in at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds with a fastball consistently in the mid 80's, with rumors of hitting 89-90 towards the end of summer. At the Top Prospect Games in June he showcased a low 3/4 arm action with above average arm speed. Balance is average and sometimes rushed. Good line to the plate, landing square with an athletic finish. Fastball was thrown for strikes. Breaking ball was thrown at 67-70 mph with gradual break and 10/4 shape.
