Just Released: Ontario's Class of 2016 Rankings

By Chris Kemlo and Dylan Hefflinger

Prep Baseball Report is proud to announce that the first rankings for the class of 2016 have been released. Rankings will be an ongoing process and will be updated in March, when most teams take off to the sunshine state for Spring Training.

Atop the list for the class of 2016 is catcher Luke Van Rycheghem. At 6-foot-2, 205-pounds, the left-handed hitting catcher has steadily shown vast improvements to all areas of his game throughout the summer and into the fall. Big and physical, Van Rycheghem still shows more than enough agility behind the plate, mixed with a strong arm and a big bat from the left-side, makes him number one in our initial rankings for the 2016 class.
